Camp Richard on Nantucket is a private camp open only to nationally chartered Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scouts Troops (and girl troops), and Venture Crews that are traveling as part of their annual program.

Family camping on the Island of Nantucket. or any other type of camping is strictly forbidden.

Camp Richard, on historic Nantucket Island, off the coast of Massachusetts, is owned and maintained by Camp Richard Camper’s Association, Inc. We provide campsites for the exclusive use of units charted by the Scouts of America (formally, Boy Scouts of America), including Cub Scout Packs, Scout Troops (formally Boy Scout Troops) and Venture Crews. We do not provide any programs. However, we do offer facilities for units to come, camp and enjoy Nantucket Island, including miles of bike paths.
