From time to time Camp Richard hosts Council Camporees and Some Troops and Cub Scout Packs use the Camp for special events that can last more than a week, and sometimes they issue a special patch for the occasion.
This year (2022) The Cape Cod and Islands Council will be holding its annual Spring Camporee at Camp Richard on the weekend of May13th to the 15th. Any troop can sign in to take part.
